LIFE Housing and Care
We offer free, confidential information, counselling and support for women with unplanned pregnancy who are struggling or distressed in some way: they may be may be unsure about how to cope with the pregnancy or be contemplating abortion. We also see women who are suffering after pregnancy loss or struggling to cope after abortion. Men and other family members affected by these issues are welcome to use our Care Centre support and counselling service too.
We have houses up and down the country, including one in Oxford, which offer supported accommodation to pregnant women and to mothers with small children.
LIFE can also provide financial and practical help and support before and after the birth of a child. We have a network of baby shops which can supply baby clothes and equipment, and our care centres can also supply clothes and equipment to anyone who might need help.
