Task 1

Name of production

Young, dazed and addicted

Reason for following this issue

I think that it is important subject to focus on as Oxford has a high rate for teenage drinking, I believe that the rate needs to come down and that we should focus on it to help the town become better and a safer place for people and especially teenagers to live.

I will create 4 separate interviews to be spread out throughout the production

Production angle

The angle that my production is based on is that teenagers in Oxford are drinking a high amount of alcohol underage and are causing themselves addiction to alcohol.

Target Audience

My target audience is 13-17 years, I have chosen to aim it at people as young as 13 as on average that is the age that people start drinking and I have chosen to aim it up to 17 as that is the last year before it is legal for you to drink and alcoholic beverage.

When completed my video will be uploaded to YouTube and the blog I own on blogger.

I have a budget of £50 for travel, interview, props and equipment.

Filming will take place from the 1st November to the 17th November, interview timings and dates are to be confirmed.

Audience research

 

The majority of my audience will be locals in the Oxfordshire area, I am aiming mainly at young teenagers and young adults, between the age of 13-19. It will be aimed at all social economical groups. I have chosen this age range because they are who I am trying to warn about the effects, by aiming the video at them I can make it more relevant to there life.
